Eine spannende Geschichte, die zwischen Piazzolla und Avsenik, zwischen Musette und Walzer angesiedelt ist und nie den Bezug zur Realität verliert.

Wenn Tire Bouchon – der Korkenzieher- einmal seine Arbeit gemacht hat, öffnet sich eine neue Klangwelt, die durch den engen Flaschenhals in den Raum gelangt, der sich mit Leidenschaft und Emotionen füllt.

Akkordeon, Gitarre & Kontrabass muten folkloristisch an – aber nur für wenige Augenblicke. Dann verschwimmt alles in einem multikulturellen Schmelztiegel um am Ende doch wieder in die bauchige Flasche zurückzugelangen.

Un percorso entusiasmante attraverso l’opera di Piazzola ed Avsenik, tra musette e walzer senza mai perdere il contatto con la realtà.

Quando il cava tappi“ lavora, da origine ad un esplosione di nuove ed originali sonorità, che dal collo della bottiglia, si spandono nell’aria alimentando inebrianti emozioni.

Fisarmonica, chitarra e contrabbasso, sfiorano a volte elementi folkloristici e tradizionali, per espandersi successivamente in aromi multiculturali e depositarsi sul finire e stagionare nelle botti per nuove e sempre più originali composizioni.

Tire Bouchon is the French word for corkscrew. The trio – Stefan Geier at the accordion, Peter Bozzetta at the guitar and Hartwig Mumelter at the contrabass – is trying to remove all corks in order to refill long stored music with freshness. A cracking good story between Piazzola’s and Avsenik’s opera, between musette and waltz without ever losing the contact to reality.
Most of the compositions are penned by Stefan Geier. The trio has been playing together for 5 years – their first CD was released in June 2009.
